Black Nougat is popular in the Provence region. Did you know it was already so during the middle age?

Crapaudine offers a wide variety of medieval recipies. The famous black nougat , fruit of the oldest Provencal traditions is made from a syrup, made of sugar and lavender honey and peanuts. It is known as “Croquantine de Provence”. But in fact, the real country where this delicacy was initially produced is Greece.
