Barbeque Ribs Are Recognizable

Filed under: Food, Meat, Beef - crunchy @ 2:33 am

When I first tried out some slow cooker country style barbeque ribs, I thought without a doubt that I had died and gone straight to heaven. My father’s barbeque ribs were always good growing up, but now I just about forgotten them as my teeth sank into that moist, succulent meat. I hadn’t heard of slow cooker ribs before so this was a pleasant surprise. My dad was always just a traditional grill kinda guy. Although he used his own barbecue spice rub, he could as well have left it off since he really knew how to grill them up.

With slower cooked ribs, nevertheless, the spices flow right in the meat in just the right amount. I cannot even explain how unbelievably tasty it is! I had always heard people saying that the meat will “fall off the bone” sometimes, but I had never actually realized that they literally meant that.

Beef jerky did not begin as a popular snack food although it is now hugely a popular snack food. Beef jerky recipes were a necessity, not a luxury. People would cook recipes beef jerky because it would help them survive. If they had a long way to travel in the wilderness, for instance, or if they had to find a way to keep meat through the winter, they could use beef jerky. It’s Safe To Buy Steaks Online

Filed under: Food, Meat, Shopping, Gourmet, Beef - crunchy @ 6:57 am

It’s honesty time. Remember that commercial about making Mikey eat it? Well, I kind of did that with a purchase of steaks online last Christmas. I was nervous about the condition and quality that an online steak purchase would arrive in, so I bought some for my neighbors for Christmas. I figured if they didn’t get sick from the online steaks, they would be okay for my family and me, too. Don’t tell anyone!

If you’re like me, you might be wondering if you’ll receive a fresh piece of beef that arrives in a cardboard box, damaged by heat or starting to rot. Rest assured, if you buy steaks online, you won’t get some creepy, smelly thing crawling with maggots delivered to your door.
